FORENSICS: The SCIENCE Detectives 2009
Professional Development Course for K-12 Teachers
Updated: 2008.08.01
Training In Forensic Science
This course is incorporated into the "FORENSICS: The SCIENCE Detectives" program and will allow teachers to learn more about forensic science while directly interacting with high school students entering the 11th - 12th grade and entering college freshman class (10th graders admitted by permission). This program will accept two K-12 teachers (must have current contract) wishing to learn from professionals and are expected to fully participate and engaged in all class activities. Additional training are provided after dismissal of the regular class. The program is intensive but will be highly informative for teachers who have little understanding of the role of science in law and society.
