
Biotechnology Outreach
The Division of Biotechnology develops and implements outreach programs to offer exciting activities that will aid other state agencies, the private sector, K-12 and community colleges in order to facilitate the use and understanding of biotechnology. We also work closely with other outreach programs within the University of Arizona. For more information on our activities, please access ContactEDU.
- The Young Scientists - Summer Activities in Biotechnology - summer programs for K-12 students interested in science, math and engineering.

FORENSICS: The SCIENCE Detectives - a unique experience for HIGH SCHOOL students interested in pursuing a carreer in forensic sciences.
The Incredible Microscopic World - a microscopic exploration opportunity for MIDDLE SCHOOL students. This program is summer camp activity in ARL's Microscopy Outreach
Summer 2008 Microscopy Camp offered by ARLDB and ARLDN
The University Spectroscopy and Imaging Facilities are visited regularly by K-12 schools
BLAST - Biotechnology Laboratory for Arizona Students and Teachers. This program gives plenty of hands-on laboratory experience for both HIGH SCHOOL students and teachers.
